JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in a full-time, benefited role. This position is ideal for a PTA with a strong interest in sports rehabilitation, strength training, and manual therapy techniques.
The PTA will provide independent treatments within the plan of care established by the supervising Physical Therapist, ensuring close collaboration and communication to support optimal patient outcomes.

A competitive salary ranging from $72,000–$85,000, commensurate with experience and certifications
Hourly equivalent: $34.62–$40.87/hr depending on tier and experience

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide one-on-one physical therapy treatments to patients with orthopedic and sports-related conditions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Execute the established plan of care with autonomy and clinical judgment, incorporating manual techniques, exercise progressions, and patient education
Collaborate regularly with the supervising Physical Therapist to ensure coordinated, evidence-based patient care
Support accurate and timely documentation of all sessions in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards
Deliver exercises and manual therapy techniques with proper form and instruction
Assist with supervision and development of physical therapy students or aides, as appropriate
Participate in clinical meetings, in-house continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives
Provide support for patient engagement and visibility efforts, such as occasional content creation or participation in media initiatives
Be available for occasional Saturday shifts (1–2 times/month) based on clinic need with advance notice
FUNCTIONS
The applicant must be able to perform the physical requirements as listed, including but not limited to:
Lift and carry up to 50lbs from floor to waist for up to 10ft independently
Jog, run, jump, squat, hinge, lunge, push, and pull to demonstrate exercises
Stand or sit unassisted for up to 1 hour at a time
JOB-RELATED SKILLS / COMPETENCIES
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Professionalism in handling confidential patient information (HIPAA/PHI)
Adaptability, organization, and reliability in dynamic clinical environments
Familiarity with strength and performance-based rehabilitation methods
Experience with documentation in electronic medical records (EMRs)
Knowledge of safety standards, equipment, and clinical protocols
REQUIREMENTS
Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of California (required)
Associate’s Degree from an accredited PTA program (required)
Minimum 1 year of experience in an outpatient orthopedic or sports rehab setting preferred
Strong interest and capability in strength training, manual therapy, and functional exercise
Experience working with Medicare and Workers’ Compensation patients preferred
Commitment to professional development, including participation in at least one external continuing education course annually
SCHEDULE
Full-time position with flexible scheduling ranging from 32 to 40 hours per week
Weekly hours may be structured across 4 or 5 days:
32 hours: over 4 or 5 days
36 hours: over 4 or 5 days
40 hours: over 4 or 5 days
Weekend shifts (primarily Saturdays) may be requested 1–2 times per month, with advance notice
Saturday shifts are limited to a maximum of 6 hours
SALARY STRUCTURE
Base salary range: $72,000 – $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications
Full-time positions are structured in three tiers:
Tier 3: 40 hours/week — full base salary ($72,000–$85,000)
Tier 2: 36 hours/week — 90% pro-rated of base salary
Tier 1: 32 hours/week — 80% pro-rated of base salary
All tiers are considered full-time with full benefits
